Ultra Post
Our UltraPost is a glued and nailed laminated column. It is designed for less flex and more strength. The in-ground portion of the post is pressure treated lumber, ensuring a lifetime of use.

 

 

Rafter Fastening System
Our rafter fastening system is superior in the industry, giving you the strongest wall to roof connection for long term durability.

 

 

Cladding
For lasting beauty and a lifetime of virtually no maintenance AFAB uses 29 ga. hi-tensile cladding. All metal cladding is fastened with industrial strength screws, not nails, and overlaps are tightened with a stitch screw to improve building strength and appearance. Our unique custom flashing system covers all exposed lumber.

 

Strapping Joints
Strapping joints are staggered for superior strength. The roof is constructed of 2” x 6” strapping on 24” centers, and walls are 30” on centers. This strapping joint system provides the most rigid frame available.
